Biography

Dr. Barve completed his basic training in medicine at a top tier medical college in India. Subsequently he has completed a Masters in Public Health at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He completed his internal medicine residency from a Yale University affiliate program. 

In 2014, he moved to Southern California to provide compassionate and high quality care to local residents. His areas of focus include complicated Internal Medicine problems focused in Cardiology and GI as well as Oncology, Geriatric Health, and Women’s Health.

Pranav R. Barve, M.D., M.P.H. is a Board-Certified in Internal Medicine since 2014.

He has published and has given presentations on his medical research, as well as assisted in emergency care of victims of terrorist attacks and natural disasters during his time in India.

In his spare time, Dr. Barve enjoys playing chess, table tennis, lawn tennis, roller skating, traveling, and studying history.
