Biography

Karen graduated from Harbor-UCLA's Nurse Practitioner Program and went on to work for 2 years STI/Infections disease department at Clark County Health Department. Then she worked in Las Vegas, Nevada as an advanced practice nurse. Later she started at UCI Family Health Department as an OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner in Santa Ana, California. Her start day was September 11th, 2011! She continued with UCI for over 10 years and worked patients, residents, and NP students. She was awarded NP Preceptor of the Year in 2009 and has participated in the Gardasil vaccine at UCI. She has continued to work in women's healthcare for 20 well rewarded years.
