Dr. Urso comes to us with a breath of OB/GYN knowledge, excellent clinical and surgical skills, and extensive OB/GYN experience. Dr. Urso was born and raised in San Diego, CA and has chosen to come back closer to her home-town, family, and friends after being away for so long pursuing and establishing her professional career. She completed her medical school training at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, CA 1997 and OB/GYN Residency at St. John Detroit Riverview and Macomb Hospitals in Detroit, MI in 2001. Dr. Urso is a Board-Certified OB/GYN physician by American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 10/23/2004. She was in private practice for 10 ½ years in Lake Havasu City, AZ prior to relocating to Hemet, CA with her husband and four children. She also speaks fluent Spanish and Italian.
